Mezcal: Mexico in a Bottle

Washington, D.C. — April 30th, 2018

Mexico in a Bottle returns to the nation’s capital, and to the gorgeous Mexican Cultural Institute, on April 30th! We will have an incredible selection of mezcals, raicillas, tequilas, along with incredible bites from the hopping dining scene, and some truly remarkable cocktails by the local bar scene.

And of course, no Mexico in a Bottle would be complete without programming that brings some of the more interesting people in the world of mezcal to talk to you about fascinating issues in the mezcal world. Don’t worry, they’re not pedantic, and they’re always paired with a tasting!

What’s Mexico in a Bottle? It’s the biggest agave spirits tasting in the United States but it’s also a celebration of Mexican culture. We’ve been going strong for five years now starting in San Francisco. Just watch our video on our home page to get an idea of what you should expect.

What is it?

Mezcal: Mexico in a Bottle is the biggest mezcal tasting in the United States. Curated by the Mezcalistas, Susan Coss and Max Garrone, it is our annual tasting and celebration of mezcal culture. We combine music, art, food, and that divine elixir – MEZCAL – in an experience like no other. Your ticket gets you full access to the entire event but please be advised, this is a 21 and over event.
